This summer its going to happen. Ive got plans to build a real playhouse in the backyard. Although my kids seem happy enough with the houses they make from cardboard boxes I want something that will last through the summer and hopefully next summer too. Plus I know the kids would go nuts to get a real playhouse this year. Ive checked out the ready-made playhouses that the big toy companies sell and boy do I really hate them. Aside from being pricey they just look trashy. Last thing I want is a big piece of plastic sitting in the middle of the yard.
But for playhouses that are in the more affordable price range plastic models generally have easier assembly and maintenance. Size Of Playhouse Before you buy an outdoor playhouse you will need to take into consideration the size of your backyard. If you have a small space then you might need to settle for a smaller playhouse so that there is still space left for other things. Furthermore if you are thinking of getting other outdoor toys for your kids you will also need to reserve some space for those. The other consideration is whether you would be setting up the playhouse indoor for those colder months.
A large unused yard space would sure sound like a prudent choice to construct a playhouse for kids. But for some reason the playhouses that are readily available in the market dont quite cut it. At times these ready made play houses look garish and spoil the beautiful look of your garden. Now if you are a person who doesnt wish to spoil your yards look with such garish looking plastic playhouses then you would have to have a fail proof playhouse plan that you can use to build your play house. Even after getting the best and free playhouse plans there are certain things that you would have to keep in mind.
