Thus if you want something that your kids can enjoy for a few years or more you will need to look for a taller playhouse that can accommodate your growing kids. Playhouse Theme Some themes are more girl-oriented that boys might find it a little boring. So if you have both sons and daughters a more gender-neutral theme may work best. Playhouses that have a little of everything with different theme on each wall can also encourage both girls and boys to play together. Playhouse Extensions Some playhouses come with a slide climber and/or swing set.
Decking and Sheathing Next comes the most rewarding part of the project: adding plywood panels to the roof (decking) and the walls (sheathing). For roof decking most playhouse plans call for 1/2" plywood panels that Ill simply nail down on to the rafters. Getting at the panels to nail them down might be a little tricky though. Some people suggest you go at them from inside the playhouse - with a step ladder poking up between the rafters. Then after each panel goes down Ill come down move my ladder and go back up for the next section.
It is not something that would be an eyesore. Most playhouses are incredibly realistic which and you would be giving your children their own little home. They will delight in keeping house just like their parents do. Children love the outdoors and in a world where children can become consumed by video games and TV having a playhouse will ensure that your children are spending hours outside. It is a playhouse which is incredibly durable built so that it will not outgrow your children. It is incredibly safe and built to endure most weather. When your children outgrow their playhouse it can be used as a storage shed for your garden tools or lawn equipment.
